Listen to the audio archive of David Fischer and Cornell University mycologist Dr. Kathie Hodge's recent guest 'appearance' on the weekly Science Friday segment on National Public Radio (NPR)'s Talk of the Nation.
David Fischer's Music
When I'm not busy with something involving mushrooms and mycology, I can sometimes be found sitting at a piano (currently with the regionally eminent Roosevelt Dean Blues Band) or with my own trio (sometimes with a tenor saxophonist making it a quartet) or in solo voice-and-piano gigs.
Here are eight snippets (in MP3 format) from the Dave Fischer Trio's live-in-rehearsal demo.
I also enjoy composing, arranging and recording original music. March 2007: All 12 movements from my CD A Sundae of Months are now available for free download
All songs composed, arranged, performed and produced by David W. Fischer except "September, Part I" which was composed by David W. Fischer and Joseph W. Bess.

I am now playing piano with the

Pamela Ross
Here's an enormous talent:
my friend, the remarkable pianist, actress and writer Pamela Ross.
Here's great stuff from a great American
musical artist and a great friend: Westside Steve!
